The team is considered the Justice League of the Invincible universe. In Invincible, the Guardians of the Globe is a private superhero organization led by War Woman and Darkwing. Yeun will voice Mark while Payton will voice Black Samson, a member of the Guardians of the Globe.
Amazon has already announced the addition of The Walking Dead stars Steven Yeun and Khary Payton to the cast. Invincible follows a young boy named Mark who discovers his father is the alien superhero Omni-Man and learns he is following in his footsteps with superpowers of his own. The superhero series began in 2003 and released 144 issues before ending in 2018. Following the success of AMC's adaptation of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series, Amazon announced their plans in 2018 to adapt Kirkman's popular Invincible comics.
